It’s official, we’ve gone viral. With over 4,000 instagram posts and 2,500 tweets on twitter in just 24 hours, #worldafroday hash tag was trending during the first global celebration of afro hair.
Celebrities including hair expert Vernon Francois, the cast of Blackish and recording artist Jidenna all showed their support for the cause with dedicated tweets and posts. We saw many brands including Shea Moisture and Natvie Child join in the conversation across social media.
